Steinar Bakke
- Actor, Producer
- Birthplace: Tromso, Norway
Steinar Bakke—your friendly blue-eyed Viking—was born in 1991 in Tromsø, Norway, where he grew up immersed in an active, outdoorsy lifestyle surrounded by mountains, northern lights, hiking, sled dogs, and horses. The middle child in a family of five (and proudly the odd one out), Steinar moved to the United States after completing a year in the Army to pursue a degree in Software Engineering at the University of North Dakota, where he first discovered his passion for acting through school theater. After graduating, he worked as a software developer before relocating to Australia, where he spent a year working as both an actor and a chef until the COVID-19 pandemic paused his acting career. During that time, he returned to Norway and back into engineering, but as soon as restrictions lifted, he fully committed to pursuing acting. Today, he lives and works in South Korea as a professional actor and model. Steinar speaks Norwegian and American English fluently, is proficient in Swedish, and has beginner-level Korean. He brings a wide range of physical skills including Army training, boxing, running, weightlifting, and multiple team sports, and holds an international driver’s license covering cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, farm trucks, tractors, and vintage cars.
