Ella and Edward fumble their way from ONS to awkward strangers to quiet, steady partners. Very vertically mature of them... they have 90% of the verti-verse beat on emotional intelligence.
Ella's Glow-up:
Ella starts off anxious, bullied, and pregnant (classic vertical trifecta), but she rises-hard.
By the end she's giving award speeches and emotionally bench-pressing everyone who
ever doubted her. Emily Gately = perfect
casting. Girl gave subtle, powerful, quietly feral energy the whole way through.
