At the company, Caroline presents the will from the late Mrs. Sterling, proving she is the heir. She exposes Penelope's cousin for embezzlement and kicks them out. After Elliot loses everything, Penelope flees with the cash, finally making him realize his mistakes. Ultimately, Naomi forgives Elliot, and the Sterling family reunites.
