On his way back home by train after years of being away, Peter Lewis witnesses his wife, Mona White, and his son, Hank Lewis, being bullied by a rich woman named Yael Harris, who knocks their lunchbox over and demands compensation. Having been diagnosed with war injury sequelae, Peter tries looking for a peaceful resolution to prevent himself from losing control due to rage.
