Leah Perez, who lives in the countryside, comes to the city. On her way to meet her son, Evan Bolton, she coincidentally encounters his girlfriend, Sarah Gibson. Sarah and her friend accuse Leah of staging an accident to extort money and proceed to beat her up. Even when they arrive at Bolton Group, their horrible attitude toward her does not relent in the slightest. The receptionist and security guard try to help but are brushed aside.
