An experienced police chief and an idealist rookie police is spending the last hours of the days duty on the outskirts of the town when they confront two rich kids speeding in their car. Due to the helplessness of the situation, as any charges against the rich kid will easily be bounced off, the chief lets them go on an easy bribe. The kids now drive further to create a chain of events that will now affect the police chief and his idealistic new rookie assistant.
