Michael Brown rises to the top of the martial world, only to return home and find his family massacred, leaving him crippled by nine silver needles sealing his meridians. He is taken in by Jessica, whose family is later murdered by the Axe Gang over stolen relief grain. Driven by vengeance, Michael shatters the needles, reclaims his martial prowess, and fights back against the gang.
