Since he was young, Luke Zeller's mother, Fiona White, has been permissive, allowing him to do whatever he wants without consequences. She never punishes him, even when he sprays water on others, damages a luxury car, or breaks a million-dollar figurine belonging to a relative. As Fiona turns a blind eye, Luke's behavior worsens, until one day, he takes someone's life and is sentenced to death. Only at his execution does Fiona realize her mistakes.
