  Billionaire CEO saves an independent Cinderella storyline.

  I loved the references to verticals built into the script. "Does your husband think he's in a vertical soap opera? Billionaire CEO saves poor Cinderella." Actually, yes. Yes, that's what's happening right now. There was also a part where he says his mom is an actress playing a billionaire mom on a GoodShort series. Also, yes, that IS what is happening. So meta I love it.

  Storywise, Lila is a charming and sweet regular girl who helps an old man buy bread, not knowing he is the grandfather of billionaire CEO William who immediately assumes Lila is a gold digger for agreeing to marry him in exchange of a 200k loan to save the orphanage she grew up in.

  So yeah, it kinda is a billionaire CEO saves poor Cinderella storyline. Well, if Cinderella was an independent woman who just wanted to live life in her own terms.
