Add a review...Emotionally exhausting, but brilliant story & acting!
This movie was an emotional roller coaster.
April Korovichenko’s acting chops as Ellie is something to admire. That little beauty touched my soul. Samantha Drews played Sienna/Scarlett beautifully and you could really feel the Momma-bear rage boiling in her facial expressions. Richard Sharrah Wayne’s heartache when something was off with Ellie was so palpable. His reaction when he realized he had been deceived was perfect. Such good acting in this film. Even Andrea Alexis Adamson as the villain. Easy to despise… that’s how you know the acting was great! I cried a lot, but it was so very well made, the tears were worth it. On @reelshortapp
Heartbreaking but worth the watch
This was so difficult to watch. Not because it was bad - the complete opposite, actually. The kid playing Ellie was SO GOOD in her role that my heart ached for her. Imagine just losing your mother and then having your father Wayne - played by @richardsharrah - choose another kid pretending to be you over you? What a painful life. 💔
I had to pause at certain parts because it all felt so real already, and I had to reel myself in and remind myself this was acting. (Empath problems 😭) I felt so relieved when the tone changed when Scarlett arrived.
This really tugs the heartstrings, but still, please watch it and then just be prepared with a lighter watch after. 🥹
