Igor Larson was addicted to gambling and gave away his wife, Sarah Turner, to pay off his debts. After being sexually assaulted by the creditor, Mr. Hugo, his wife could not bear to live any longer and committed suicide by taking drugs with their daughter. Igor regretted it and came to his senses. He became a tycoon through his efforts, but the pain of his wife and daughter's death plagued him for many years.
