After Tim Yale, the Lord of Dark Abyss, serves a five-year prison sentence for his brother-in-law, he returns home to his wife in hopes to go back to how things were. However, his wife forces him to comply with a divorce because she thinks that she is way out of his league. Having his hopes torn apart, Tim decides to disclose his true identity and make his status-conscious wife regret her choices.
