Mel Brooks?!
Sam is kind of a hidden gem in microdrama form—it was originally shot as a full movie, and you can actually feel that in the storytelling. The episodes flow more like chapters than quick-hit clips, so it feels a little more grounded and polished than your typical vertical drama. The premise is fun and a bit weird (in a good way), following a guy who suddenly has to experience life from a completely different perspective, and it leans into both comedy and heart. Also, the fact that it’s executive produced by Mel Brooks gives it a legit pedigree that you don’t usually see in this space . Overall, it’s an easy watch—fun, a little quirky, and surprisingly well put together for a microdrama adaptation.
