Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a Gen Z glow-up, a high school setting, and a love triangle sharp enough to draw blood. Cassidy is a rookie vampire hunter who falls for Theo, the broody new guy… only to find out he’s the exact creature she’s been trained to kill. Her big brother Ryker, top dog of the hunter league, is all about rules, stakes, and keeping Cassidy away from sharp-fanged heartbreak. But when love starts to blur the battle lines, Cassidy is stuck between family loyalty and a romance that could cost her everything. The pacing is quick, the drama is juicy, and while some scenes feel a little awkward, it’s still a fast, addictive watch. Just don’t expect the poster’s cozy chemistry; Cass and Theo keep it a little more will-they-won’t-they than smoldering stares. And yes, you might guess the ending… but you’ll still want to watch it play out.
Stake Through My Heart!
Love Madeline and Noah in this. Truly great vertical.
Noah to my Heart
Noah Fearnley is a dreamboat. I will watch anything that he is in! Very solid editing on this one. Rarely I notice that the editing stands out but for this series in particular it definitely did.
Vampire Romance!
Stake to the Heart is fun, fast-paced and it leans into the forbidden romance, It mixes vampire drama, family legacy pressure, and just enough tension to keep you bingeing.

Stake to the Heart is what happens when you toss Romeo and Juliet into a blender with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, add fangs, forbidden romance, and a brooding vampire with feelings and honestly? It’s a vibe.
The series centers on Cassidy and Theo Vale, a human girl and a vampire with an actual soul (yes, the Angel comparisons are earned). Their chemistry drives the entire show. Theo isn’t your typical cold-blooded monster as he’s gentle, protective, quietly tortured, and absolutely swoon-worthy. If you’re into the “dangerous but devoted” archetype, this one checks the box hard.
Noah Fearnley anchors the show with that steady, magnetic presence he always brings. He has a way of making supernatural angst feel grounded instead of melodramatic. And Madeleine Rocha Barnette is a standout as Cassidy. She starts with that softer, vulnerable energy that makes you want to root for her, then slowly builds into something stronger. There’s a real early-Buffy innocence to her performance before the... read more
