  • Genuinely sweet YA romance

Strings Attached feels like the kind of YA story that remembers teenagers are actual people, not just walking drama machines. Yes, there's ambition, complicated feelings, and the pressure of figuring out who you're supposed to be, but underneath it all is a genuinely sweet friends-to-lovers story that never loses sight of its heart. I especially appreciated that the conflict came from realistic struggles rather than relying on over-the-top mean-girl antics or unnecessary cruelty.

It made the emotional moments land so much better.
