Balagarh is home to nearly a century old boat making tradition. The boat makers have been holding on to this practice passed on by their ancestors for generations. But recently due to adverse conditions, they are succumbing to choosing different professions for the sake of livelihood. Thus, our documentary is a small effort to portray the boat making process and document the adverse conditions they overpower to keep their ancestral tradition alive in Balagarh.
