The Cactus is a poignant and thought-provoking story about Varun, who returns home after attending his ex-girlfriend Preeti’s wedding. As he shares a drink with Preeti’s cousin, a conversation unfolds, with the cousin questioning why Varun and Preeti broke up. Varun, confused and unsure about the breakup’s real cause, begins to reflect on the relationship, questioning whether it was truly over or if things just got lost along the way. As the conversation progresses, buried emotions and misunderstandings come to the surface, revealing a tragic and unexpected twist that alters Varun’s perception of the entire relationship.
