  • High-school hypocrisy met with unapologetic fire

Molly is the kind of heroine who doesn't flinch, doesn't apologize, and doesn't shrink for anybody; and Kyra Wisely brings that fire with attitude to spare. Nick Skonberg plays Ethan Abbott with just the right mix of green-flag charm and immaturity, making his “I'm down for you… except when I'm not” moment extra punchable, even as their chemistry keeps the story alive. Katie Rose leans into the queen-bee chaos of cheer Captain Shanna beautifully, and Justin Stanek as Pug adds that extra spark of messy high-school energy. The plot hits every nerve: hypocrisy, judgment, insecurity; all the things teens weaponize without blinking. But Molly standing her ground? That's the show-stealer. It's bold, dramatic, and impossible not to binge. I only wish the resolution and romance had been a bit more of a slow burn.
