Zachary, given a second chance after dying unloved by his wife and daughter, chooses to divorce and dedicate himself to brain cancer research in Jing City. There, he bonds with young patient Coco and her aunt Xena, who supports his journey to study abroad. Ten years later, Zachary returns as an accomplished scientist to find both Xena and his ex-wife waiting for him, each holding flowers.
