While sweeping the streets, cleaner Carleigh Quinn encounters Roderick Sawyer stepping out of a luxury car. He hands her a bank card, explaining he's terminally ill and wants to help her. Surprisingly, Carleigh claims she can cure him, but three renowned doctors accuse her of being a fraud. When Roderick suddenly collapses, everyone rushes to his home where the doctors admit only the legendary "Sovereign of Scales" could save him. Carleigh reveals herself as this mystical healer with mastery across dozens of fields, cures Roderick, and leaves. Later, her fiance Kieran Harrell delivers divorce papers, and at their wedding, publicly abandons her to marry Aurora Quinn instead. Roderick arrives with a marriage proposal, announcing to everyone's shock that Carleigh is the revered Sovereign of Scales.
