Add a review...Flawed audio production and excessive violence drag down a familiar trope
This is a light take on the secret heiress trope. Ex Fiancé David (Aiden Farren) dumps his long time girlfriend, Aylin (Stefy Mann) thinking his new side piece will help him get ahead in business. Along comes Mr Ashbourne (Eric Brody) pretending to be a janitor. It’s a fairly overused trope and this one was a little more difficult to enjoy because of the poor voice over sound. It was very distracting. The violence was gratuitous and I felt like it was a bit “more vertical” than other versions. I found it tougher to watch and didn’t want to finish it, but I felt like I had to. The hidden identity when they are already married trope gets very tired for me. They are both secret billionaires but their parents are setting them up with each other and one knows about it and the other doesn’t? I mean, a conversation can fix that, right?
