Young Ashish eagerly wishes for a Sunday outing with his widowed mother, Sudha, but she refuses and warns him not to leave the house. When his friend Neha convinces him to step out, they stumble upon Sudha with another man. Through a child's innocent eyes, reality is misunderstood, but as events unfold, emotions, relationships, and perceptions are put to the test.
