Zane Vance is Meridia's top Bounty Hunter, tasked with hunting down A-Class Relic Thief Garrick. While tracking him in The Western Wastes, his partners Dane Thorne and Sloane betray him, joining The Dustfall Syndicate and stealing The Sovereign's Cauldron. Zane unexpectedly obtains The Sovereign's Ring, becoming The Sovereign's Heir, and teams up with Sylvia Lockwood, guardian of The Sovereign's Hidden Sanctum. They must gather all five of The Sovereign's Relics to stop The Dustfall Syndicate from starting The Millennial War. After fierce battles against The Three Great Clans, The Cartel Leader Luther Bane, Silas, and Sloane, Zane purifies the dark forces, reclaims the relics, finds love with Sylvia, and hands The Sovereign's Staff to The Bureau of Antiquities to secure lasting peace.
